Can I pledge for $1 and upgrade to a full pledge in the BackerKit later?

Yup. Since this campaign ends right around the time that factories close for Chinese New Year, we’ll have the Backer Kit open for about 6 weeks. During that time you can upgrade your pledge at any time.

I own Shadows of the Past, what's the difference with these games?

Change is Constant and City Fall are both considered stand alone sequels to Shadows of the Past. Here’s what’s new for you in these games: -All sculpts are brand new, and correctly scaled -Both games feature a fully co-op mode. No one has to play as the bad guys. -16 new missions in each game. -Change is Constant features new villains: Baxter Stockman, (re-tooled) mousers, and the Mega Mouser. -Change is Constant introduces Small minions, the Mousers, which can actually fit 3 in a space. Making them more deadly as they bunch up and act like a advancing swarm. -Change is Constant also introduces large minions, the Mega Mouser, that take up multiple spaces and act as blocking terrain. -City Fall has 3 new heroes: Slash, Old Hob, and Angel. Each hero has their own set of 3 unique hero dice, a Hero Sheet, and Ability cards. -City fall introduces new villains: Hun and Chunin (Dark Leo), and the Purple Dragons gang. - Each game has 8 double-sided map tiles instead of 6, and each map features all new art.

The Kickstarter Exclusive add-ons like the Sakai and Deviation boxes, both have an MSRP of $25, but are FREE with your pledge of any single game, as well as their bonus figure. With the All The Loot pledge, you’re getting 3 free expansion, and 3 bonus figures, with your pledge before we unlock any stretch goals.

Why do the pledges say they're $125, but the MSRP is $150?

When Change is Constant and City Fall release into retail, they will both be priced at $125. There are a few reasons for this: -Unlike SotP, both games will come with 5 heroes, instead of 4. This means both game will include 3 more character dice than SotP, an additional Hero Sheet, and an additional set of Ability cards over what was in SotP. -Both games also include the Fully co-op mode which includes initiative cards for all characters and enemies in the box and unique cooperative villain cards for every enemy in the box.
-Both games come with 8 double-sided map tiles, for a total 16, instead of the 5 that came with SotP at retail. An important way to look at this is that, in total, there are 22 new maps in this Kickstarter and only 10 returning ones form SotP

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
