Shipping Update 1/10/2020

Hey Shellheads!

First off happy New Years! We hope that everyone got to enjoy the holidays with a nice big bowl of turtle soup.  Anyways, let's get straight into the (turtle)meat of things, what's up with shipping? Well, it appears we were a bit too optimistic about how much time the holidays would delay things. So here's the current status:

USA: The container has arrived, but took about 2 weeks to clear customs instead of the normal couple of days. All product is now at our USA Fulfillment hub. They will begin shipping pledges out to backers next week.

Canada: The pallet for Canadian backers is shipping out on Monday to Snakes and Lattes. If our previous experences holds true, they should recieve it late next week, then start shipping the following week or so. We're estimating that they will begin the week of Jan. 20th.  

EU+AUS Note: We're not sure exactly what happened with our freght forwarder for EU and AUS. They gave us an ETD of mid-December before, but just recently told us that the vessels were delayed and we were rebooked. This is a first for us. So we have to apologize as our original information was apparently quite wrong. Luckily we now have a confirmed vessel for EU, AUS, and NZ. 

EU: The boat will depart on Jan. 16. It is schedueld to arrive at the fulfillment hub Feb. 20th. We're sorry this is so much later than we were originally expecting. Apparently this change happened during the holidays and our freight company just gave us the update this week. We thought the boat was already well on its way. 

AUS, NZ:  Same deal, the boat we thought left in December apparently did not. The boat will be leaving Jan. 14. The fullfillment hub should have the product by Feb. 10th. Again, we're sorry this is so much later than expected. We were told this boat would be goihng out back in December. We're still trying to clarify why were delayed by a month.

Asia: This product seems to have been held until EU and AUS were accounted for. We believe backers in Asia should start recieving products within 2 weeks.

South America: Backers in SA will begin recieving their games while USA is fulfilling. Expect shipping notifications within 2 weeks.

Rest of the World: RotW shipments will begin when EU shipments do. So expect to see shipping notifications around the end of February.

Shipping Update 12/18/19

Hey Shellheads!

Dropping in to give you a quick update today. We have confirmation that the USA bound games have made it onto the boat are expected to arrive into port 12/30. This is a bit later than we were originally told. It appears the boat was delayed getting out of the port.

As for EU and AUS, we’re waiting on confirmation that both containers left the port at the same time as the USA shipment. Once we have that confirmation, we’ll give estimated delivery times.

Asia should begin shipping sometime next week. We are waiting for confirmation that our Asia hub is prepared to ship.

If everything goes well with weather and customs, then we’re expecting the USA shipments to begin shipping around the 2nd week of January. A tad bit later than we were originally hoping.

Production Update 12/3/19

Hey Shellheads!

Just a quick update today. We've confirmed with the factory that all materials have completed production and they are doing pack out and assembly now.  The factory is estimating that we should recieve the container with the games into the USA around the third week of December.  As long as there are no issues with weather to slow the boat down, or things getting held up in customs, we should begin delivering shortly after Christmas. With the updated info here's what we're estimating for each region:

• USA: Late December
• Canada: Late December/early January
• EU: January
• Asia: Mid-December
• Australia: Late December

When we have confirmation that the games have started fulfilling in Asia, and are on the boats to USA and EU, we'll post another update. Not much longer now, Shellheads! Stay tuned!

Production Update, Estimated Delivery Times, & Signed Items

Hey Shellheads!

Dropping in today with an update on production and when we are currently expecting each region to deliver.

Production

Production has been moving along for quite some time now. Production is expected to wrap next week. This is everything, including bundle pack-out for Kickstarter pledges. This means that when the pledges arrive at our fulfillment partners that nothing will need to be picked and packed, so fulfillment should move quickly.  Which brings me to...

Estimated Delivery Times

Working with our factory, freight company, and fulfillment partners, below are the estimated delivery times:

• Asia: December
• Australia: January
• Canada: December/January
• EU: January
• USA: December
• South America: January
• ROTW: January

NOTE: Signed Items - Important Please Read!

If you pledged for a Kevin Eastman bundle or added the Sophie Campbell card to your pledge, those cards will ship separately from the game components in your pledge. This is the easiest way to get these to you safely, as opposed to adding them in a box where they might get bent or crushed under the product weight.  We'll do another update when we start shipping these out, but expect them to go out before your game pledge.

Production Update

Hey Shellheads,

Just wanted to to drop in and give everyone a quick update about production and estimated shipping times. At this time, the games are still in production. As such, there's no way we're going to hit our original estimate of October for shipping. 

While we know this is disappointing, and we're disappointed too, ultimately, the delay was neccesary. The main culprits were the size of the campaign and QA. Once all SGs were unlocked, we had created almost 4 games worth of content. Things like proofing, editing, and quality checks on print materials and plastics just took a lot longer than expected. We also know there were a few issues with Shadows of the Past and we wanted to make sure that we avoided any mistakes like the ones that hampered that game again. 

With all that said, we're currently looking at a December ship for most countries. There is some uncertaintiy about EU and UK due to how we will handle shipments if there isn't another Brexit extentsion and/or resolution by our actual shipping time. We're working with fulfillment partners at this time to see what our options are.
