A Mini-Update! Comics, Pledge Managers, Timelines.

Hey Shellheads!

How are you? Was that the most restful weekend ever? Did you celebrate getting a completely new expansion unlocked for free IN ONE DAY?

This is a very brief update to make sure no one worries about the digital comics deadlines. Specifically those of you looking to upgrade in the Pledge Manager.

Because it's taking time to get the BackerKit fully set up (they typically prefer campaigns wait two weeks, we're asking for expediting.) We're going to make sure that we work with all our partners and adjust our timelines accordingly. 

The deadline for upgrading in the Pledge Manager will push out to 2/25/19 and the codes will deliver on March 4th.

Our current update plans is every-other-week, but while we have important news like this we'll be checking in a bit more often until everything is locked in place.

Thank you to the more than 3,900 backers that made this project happen!

What's next? We get to work! The Adventure System is alive and well, and you'll be hearing a lot more about it as we work our way through all the content you've unlocked here!

And to answer one FAQ that didn't get officially posted - 

One person who's been asked about a lot this campaign, but who's been a little busy is Mr. Kevin Wilson. Original designer of the TMNT: Shadows of the Past game. Well, he's wanted to pop in here, but he got called away on a particularly long blimp ride. But don't fear, you'll be hearing from him...

We're well past $710k so big WYRM is unlocked!

Hey Shellheads!

Victor, the HEAD of the Savate is unlocked! Will you outmaneuver him, or will he HAND you a crushing defeat?

Up next is a pair of exciting goals: 

First - A Savate upgrade that gives you more ways to use parkour around the board!

Then - WYRM!

This oversized, incredibly deadly foe is one of our favorite character designs! He comes in at 45mm tall, and look at that mallet! Wyrm is a mass of flatworms that were exposed to Mutagen and now act as a kind of hive mind of horror. Cool, right?

And now - here's the big one. Here's why Crowd Funding is such a special place.

When we started on this campaign, we were always careful to respect that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is not just IDW. It's Mirage, it's cartoons, it's movies. So, while we've been mostly telling our story through City Fall, we've also been trying to bring in fan-favorite characters that everyone would recognize.

What we didn't expect was all the fan demand for North Hampton, the story arc that directly follows City Fall. It's a great story arc, and Sophie Campbell did an amazing job that brought to life the emotions the Turtles were suffering through after the rollercoaster of City Fall.

In our original plans - we didn't see it as a story to be told in the Adventure System.

You told us otherwise. You were right. The first appearance of Koya? The assassins? These are big! So we're doing it.

 A full North Hampton Expansion, completely Kickstarter Exclusive.

The Koya miniature will be playable as both a hero and a villain, so she'll receive a hero sheet, hero ability cards and hero dice. 

3 Foot Assassin miniatures playable as both AI and 4 v1.

It's a big goal to reach, but we didn't want to end up in a spot where the story is left half-told. If you want North Hampton. Now's the time.
